The front page of the zine is the first woodblock print I ever carved.
I had been sexually assaulted and gaslit by my college. I was experincing the intense racism of a college named after a missionary who stole indigenous babies. And I had begun having out of body PTSD experinces. I vividly remember leaving my body when my white classmates began “academincally” debating race. I looked down from the ceiling of my classroom, confused about how I got there. I dont remember the rest of that day.
I channeled my rage into art, as I always had.
I humbly offer you this image of my agony. I catalyzed the pain into power. We will all learn how to catalyze rage into raw power to transform the world at RAGE CAMP. Programs start this spring.
